Friends, if you are looking for a smartwatch that is budget-friendly, gives premium feel, and is full of features, then stop! Today we are going to talk about Amazfit Active 2, which can be a game-changer under 10,000.

I have personally tested this watch, and trust me, it is a complete package – a perfect combo of style, performance, and battery life. So let’s get into its details and see what is special in it!

Unboxing: Amazfit Active 2 Review

When I opened the box of the Amazfit Active 2, the first thing that that I like most was its premium packaging. This watch comes in two variants – one with a normal silicone strap and the other with a premium leather strap. I tested the premium version, and in this I got a high-quality leather strap along with an extra orange silicone strap. The leather strap is perfect for formal occasions, while the silicone strap is absolutely awesome for a sporty look and daily use.

What else did I get in the box? A magnetic charging dock, some documentation, and obviously the watch itself. In terms of build quality, it comes with a stainless steel body, which gives it a sleek and sturdy feel. It is also quite light in weight – around 30 grams without strap – so there is no problem in wearing it all night and sleeping.

Design and Display: Sleek and Stylish

The design of Amazfit Active 2 is, in one word – elegant. Its circular dial and slim profile give it a very classy look on the wrist. This watch is perfect not just for males but also for females as its size fits comfortably on medium and thin wrists.

Talking about the display, it comes with a 1.32-inch AMOLED panel that offers 466×466 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. Colours are vibrant, text is sharp, and outdoor visibility is not an issue thanks to the 2000 nits brightness.

Sapphire glass is used in this, which provides protection from scratches – and this is a big plus point, as there is always a fear of scratches in daily use. There is also an option of always-on display and auto-brightness, which makes it even more convenient.

The quality of the straps is also top-notch. The leather strap is genuine, and the silicone strap has ventilation holes, which provide comfort during workouts. These are 20mm straps, so you can easily try new straps from the market as well.

Features: Everything in a Smartwatch

Amazfit Active 2 is not just beautiful, it is smart too. It runs on Zepp OS 4.5, which is a smooth and feature-rich operating system. It supports 400+ watch faces with which you can personalize your watch. You can also install calculator, weather apps, or small games through the app store.

When it comes to health tracking, this watch is no less. It has everything from 164+ sports modes, built-in GPS, heart rate monitoring, SpO2, stress monitoring, sleep tracking, and body temperature sensor. There is also a one-tap measurement feature that shows heart rate, stress, and breathing data in one go.

Menstrual cycle tracking is also available for females. I tested its accuracy, and the step counting and heart rate monitoring seemed quite accurate. Sleep tracking is also mostly on point, but once it measured my TV watching time, which was a slight miss.

Another highlight is the Zepp Flow AI, which works via voice commands. You can ask it to set alarms, make calls, or reply to messages. There’s also a built-in GPS and offline maps feature, which gives turn-by-turn navigation during travel – a big bonus for runners and travelers.

The calling feature is also pretty solid. I made multiple calls with it, and the mic and speaker quality is decent for outdoor use as well. 5 ATM water resistance means you can even use it while swimming.

Battery Life: Charge and Forget

Amazfit has always been the king when it comes to battery life, and Active 2 is no exception. It has a 270mAh battery, which lasts for 10 days as per the company’s claim. I comfortably spent a week with heavy usageGPS, notifications, and workout tracking – and still had 23% battery left. With normal usage, it can easily last for 10-12 days. Compare it with the Apple Watch, which needs to be charged daily, and it seems absolutely value-for-money.

Is It Worth It?

So is the Amazfit Active 2 worth your money? In my opinion, absolutely! For under ₹10,000, this watch offers an unbeatable combination of features, build quality, and battery life. The premium leather strap variant is a bit costly – around ₹12,000 – but the normal silicone strap variant fits in the ₹10,000 budget.

If you want a stylish, feature-packed, and long-lasting battery smartwatch, the Amazfit Active 2 is a must-check option. It is not just perfect for daily use, but also perfect for workouts, travel, and formal occasions.
