The wait for Google Pixel 10 Series is about to end! The official date has come – it is launching globally on 20 August 2025, and in India on 21 August 2025, meaning two weeks later! These phones are going to be amazing, and I will tell you everything. There are 4 phones in this series: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Let’s see what’s there in them and are they worth your money!
Launch Date and Availability
Google has confirmed that the Pixel 10 series will be launched on 20 August 2025 at the Made by Google event in New York. They will be available in India from 21 August, and will be available at stores like Flipkart and Croma. Pre-orders will also start on the day of launch. So if you need it quickly, be ready!
Models and Design: What’s New?
This time also there are 4 models like the Pixel 9 series:
- Pixel 10: Base model, compact and budget-friendly.
- Pixel 10 Pro: Slightly premium, better features.
- Pixel 10 Pro XL: Big screen, big battery.
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold: Foldable phone, sci-fi vibes!
Not much change in design – same flat edges, flat display, and signature camera bar. But the colours are new and vibrant:
- Pixel 10: Ultra Blue, Limoncello (yellow), Iris (purple), Midnight (black).
- Pro models: Sterling Grey, Porcelain, Smoky Green, Moonstone.
- Pro Fold: Moonstone and Jade.
Build quality includes Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and IP68 water-dust resistance. But the Fold lacks a little dust resistance (IP48). The design is great, but if you have seen the Pixel 9, it will look just like that.
Display: Bright and Smooth
- Pixel 10: 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED, 120Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness.
- Pixel 10 Pro: 6.3-inch LTPO OLED, 120Hz, 2200 nits.

All the displays are vibrant and will look clear even in the sun. The inner display of the Fold is square-like, which is a bit strange for movies (there are black bars), but is great for multitasking. With Gorilla Glass protection and smooth animations, the display is absolutely top-notch!
Camera: Absolute Next-Level!
Google’s camera has always been a hero, and it’s the same this time too. The biggest change? Pixel 10 also has a triple camera setup, which was previously only available in Pro models:
- Pixel 10: 50MP main, 13MP ultra-wide, 11MP telephoto (5x zoom), 42MP selfie.
- Pixel 10 Pro/Pro XL: 50MP main, 48MP ultra-wide, 48MP telephoto (5x zoom, up to 100x AI zoom), 42MP selfie.
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold: 48MP main, 10.8MP telephoto, 10.5MP ultra-wide, dual 10MP selfie.
AI features include Camera Coach (real-time photo tips), Speak-to-Tweak (voice photo editing), and Pixel Sense (on-device assistant). Photos look great in low light, and 4K video recording is also solid. There is no answer to this camera at this price!
Performance: Rocket Speed!
All models have Tensor G5 chip, which is made on TSMC’s 3nm process. It is extremely fast, power-efficient, and optimized for AI.
- Pixel 10: 12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage.
- Pro/Pro XL: 16GB RAM, up to 1TB storage.
- Pro Fold: 16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage.
Android 16 will be available out-of-the-box, and 7 years of OS and security updates will be available – meaning it is future-proof! Games like BGMI, COD run smoothly, and Gemini AI features like Circle to Search, live translate, and sketch-to-image are absolutely cool. There is no lag in multitasking and daily use.
Battery and Charging
- Pixel 10: 4970mAh, 29W fast charging, 15W wireless (Qi2).
- Pixel 10 Pro: 4870mAh, 29W fast charging, 15W wireless.
- Pixel 10 Pro XL: 5200mAh, 39W fast charging, 15W wireless.
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold: 5000mAh, 29W fast charging, 15W wireless.
Battery life is awesome – it lasts for 1-1.5 days with normal use. But the charging speed is a bit slow, especially for the Fold. Qi2 magnetic wireless charging is a new feature, similar to Apple’s MagSafe.
Pricing: How much will it cost?
These are the expected prices in India (according to leaks):
- Pixel 10: ₹79,999 (128GB).
- Pixel 10 Pro: ₹99,999 – ₹1,11,990.
- Pixel 10 Pro XL: ₹1,02,000 – ₹1,39,990.
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold: ₹1,36,500 – ₹1,79,999.
These prices are a bit high, but can be slightly cheaper with discounts and exchange offers on Flipkart. Compared to iPhone 17 or Galaxy S26, these are competitive, but a bit costly for budget buyers.
