Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 Features

Google Pixel Buds Pro 2

Design

The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 comes with a big round case. The case has a matte like finish which helps in hiding scratches.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 earbuds are available in different colours like Hazel (black), Wintergreen (green) and Peony (pink). The lightweight design with soft silicone ear tips give a comfortable experience even during prolonged use.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 has an irregular form with several contours, unlike the mainstream perfect round or oval design. This allows the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to fit right in the ear.

The design also enhances touch control, making it easy to change music tracks or adjust the volume.

Despite the high price, Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are IP54 certified, which gets average protection against water or dust.

Audio quality

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 gives a balanced sound with equal emphasis on mids and lows. The earbud lacks a dual-driver setup available in many earbuds in this price range. The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 offers great bass without compromising vocals. The 11mm drivers also provide loud output.

The active noise cancellation and transparency modes have improved the experience with the Tensor A1 chip. The integration of larger microphones and the proprietary chip results in fair ANC.

For a great movie experience the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 gives head tracking and spatial audio for 3D surround sound.

Also the mics offer a decent sound during calls, but the voice may not be the best if your background is hindered by heavy winds.

App Features

The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 is controlled by the Pixel Buds app in Android. Spatial sound support is only for Pixel phones. The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 can also get the Gemini Live feature.

Also the auto-switch feature allows users to switch audio between a Pixel phone and a tablet.

It also offers AirPods Pro-inspired conversation detection to move between ANC and transparency for those sudden interactions with others around you.

Other features include auto-pause, touch controls, equaliser, ANC and transparency, find device, and hearing wellness. The app is also easy to use.

Battery

Due to the large case we can say that the earbuds have a larger battery unit which means you don’t have to charge the earbuds too often.

The Google Pixel Buds 2 pro features 12 hours of working with ANC. And with ANC enabled with the case the earbud gives 48 hours of working.

However there is no charger provided along with the earbud. You can also go for wireless charging with the case.
