As we all know, Threads is an app launched by Instagram, which works exactly like Twitter. Apart from Twitter, you can now grow your followers and connect with them through the Threads app. Whenever we create our account on Threads app, it remains public by default.

Which means anyone can see your posts and messages. But if you want to make your church account private and don’t understand how to make your threads account private then follow the steps given below -:

  • Launch the Threads application and sign in to your account.
  • Now tap on the profile icon situated at the lower right corner of the screen.
  • Proceed by selecting the Settings icon given at the upper right corner of the screen.
  • Scroll down the page and click on Privacy option.
  • Now you can see here Private Profile option.
  • Now Activate your Private Profile feature by taping the switch to the On position.
  • Confirm your selection by tapping on the OK button.
  • After successfully configuring your Threads account as private, only individuals who have been approved as followers will have access to your posts and messages.

If you ever decide that you want to make your Threads account public again, you can simply toggle the Private Profile switch back to the Off position.
