OPPO K13 Turbo Pro is here, and its gaming scene is absolutely different! With 120FPS gaming, this phone seems to be a solid option under ₹40,000. I tested it thoroughly – gaming, camera, daily use, everything. And yes, it also has a cooling fan which works wonders while gaming! Let’s see in simple words what this phone brings and is it worth the money!

What do you get in the box?

The box is absolutely sleek and premium. Inside the phone, you get Type-C cable, SIM ejector pin, quick guide, transparent case, and 80W FlashCharge charger – it is great to get charger in the box! There is also a pre-applied screen protector. After unboxing, it seems that this phone has brought something special.

Design: Cool Looks, Great Feel

The design of the OPPO K13 Turbo Pro is absolutely amazing – 6.80-inch flat LTPS OLED display with small bezels, which looks absolutely premium. It weighs 190g and is comfortable even with the case on. The back has a matte finish, along with an aluminium frame, which gives a solid grip in the hand.

It has an IP68 rating, meaning it will not be affected by water or a little dust – and its cooling fan is also water-resistant, which is extremely rare! The Pro version has RGB lights around the fan, which give a breathing effect while gaming. The colours are Black, Blue, and Green – the green one is extremely different. The Non-Pro does not have RGB lights.

Cooling Fan: Gaming Hero

The dedicated cooling fan of this phone is its biggest USP. This fan controls the heat of the processor while gaming. The thermals are extremely sorted with 7000mm² vapor chamber cooling. The fan has three modes – off, smart, and full speed. I tested it – the phone reached 45°C while gaming with the fan off, but it was controlled at 40°C after turning the fan on. The fan works even in hot environments, and the phone does not heat up even while charging with bypass charging. There is no fan in the non-pro, so there can be a little heating.

Performance: 120FPS Gaming, No Lag

It has Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, which scores ~2M on AnTuTu. With LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, apps and games open very quickly. BGMI and COD Mobile have 120FPS support – very smooth for casual gaming! 105-115FPS remains in heavy lobbies, and 120FPS is stable in TDM. 90FPS is more consistent for pro gamers, but casual gamers can enjoy 120FPS as well. CPU throttle test scored 75-80%.

ColorOS 15 (Android 15) is very fast and smooth. Animations are great, there is no lag or stutter. Even with 10 apps in the background, the phone does not stop. There is brightness lock, temperature monitor, and fan controls in Game Mode. Champion Mode blocks notifications and boosts performance. There is also an option to connect SSD.

Display: Big and Bright

6.80-inch FHD+ LTPS OLED display, with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. With 1600 nits peak brightness, it is clearly visible even outdoors. 90% screen-to-body ratio and small bezels are perfect for gaming and videos. There is Crystal Shield Glass protection, and with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, content looks awesome.

Audio: Loud and Clear

With dual stereo speakers, the sound is loud and clear – with 60:40 ratio, vocals and mids are great. There is also 300% volume boost, useful in music and gaming. No distortion even at high volume.

Battery: Long Backup

7000mAh battery is another highlight. It lasts for 6 hours screen-on time in heavy gaming, and 1.5-2 days in normal use. 50% charge is done in 25 minutes with 80W FlashCharge, and full charge is done in 50 minutes.

Camera: Decent, but a gaming phone

It has a 50MP main sensor (4K@30fps) and a 16MP selfie camera (1080p@30fps). Colours are natural and portrait/low-light shots are okay. Video stabilization is good but the camera is average at this price point – being a gaming phone, the focus is more on performance. AI features like AI Eraser, Enhancement, and Clarity add a little life to the photos.

Extras: Everything Sorted

IP68 rating, IR Blaster, NFC, Type-C 2.0, and four mics. In-display optical fingerprint scanner and face unlock are fast. Call recording is done without announcement. AI Call Assist and Air Gestures are also useful. 36 sensors and dedicated proximity sensor make call quality solid.

Software: Smooth and Up-to-Date

ColorOS 15 (Android 15) is very smooth, and animations are fast. A little bloatware is available, but it can be uninstalled. You will get 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security updates. Always-On Display, haptic feedback, and X-axis linear motor are fun in typing and navigation.

OPPO K13 Turbo (Non-Pro): What’s the Difference?

The Non-Pro has Dimensity 8450 chip (~1.6M AnTuTu score), LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. Display, battery, and camera are same, but there are no RGB lights and cooling fan. Price is around ₹30,000.

Pricing: Worth the Price?

The price of Pro version (8GB+256GB) is ~₹38,000 (with offers). Non-Pro is available for ~₹30,000. Pro is really worth the money for gaming, battery, and display!
