The smartphone market is awaiting the arrival of two of the most prominent Poco models of 2025:Poco F7 series. These devices, designed to establish themselves as a flagship option in the high range, have already raised great expectations thanks to the specifications leaked in the last few weeks.
Although their global launch has not yet been officially confirmed, it is believed that they could be available in the first half of the year. Both smartphones will be the international versions of the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro, already available in the Chinese market.
Xiaomi, as part of its usual strategy, will rebrand these phones for the global market and make some minor changes in design and specifications. Poco is decide to launch the new series Poco F7 series on 20 March 2025. In the past few years, the brand launched them in the month of May, so this strategy is likely to continue this time as well. The Poco F7 series will probably be available in select markets across the world. If reports are to be believed, it indicates that the Pro and Ultra variants may not launch in India. There is a possibility that Poco may just introduce the base F7 model in the Indian market.

The Poco F7 Serires is expected to be offered in black and yellow colour options, while the Poco F7 Pro could be available in black, blue, and grey shades. The handsets appear to have a circular rear camera module, located at the top left of the panel, similar to the Redmi K80 lineup models. The phones may feature three sensors within the camera island.
A horizontal pill-shaped LED flash unit is located near the camera module. The volume rocker and power button are seen on the right frame. The displays on both phones appear to have similarly thin bezels and a centered hole-punch slot at the top, which is supposed to house the front camera.

The Poco F7 Ultra has been certified by UAE’s TDRA, confirming that the device will come with model number 24122RKC7G. Furthermore, the Poco F7 Ultra is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Furthermore, it is likely to get a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 32 MP ultrawide camera. In terms of battery backup, the device may house a 5,300 mAh battery, which will support 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the other hand, the Poco F7 Pro is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and may offer up to 256GB or 512GB of storage along with 12GB or 16GB of RAM. Additionally, the smartphone is likely to feature a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP auxiliary sensor.
Additionally, it may feature a large 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired charging. Both smartphones are likely to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution.
Recently, POCO India head Himanshu Tandan hinted on X that the POCO F7 series could also come to the Indian market, and it could feature bigger batteries than the global variants.
Poco F7 Series Price And Availability
Currently, there is no official information regarding the price of the Poco F7 Series, but according to leaks and rumors, the Poco F7 Ultra could be priced between 500-600 euros. On the other hand, the Poco F7 Pro is expected to be priced slightly lower, around 400-500 euros, with variations based on storage and memory configurations.
As for availability, the Poco F7 Series smartphones are expected to launch in the first half of 2025, following the trend of previous years when Poco launched its F Series smartphones around May. After the launch, these smartphones will likely be available in global markets, with a special focus on India as well.
