Display: Difference in size, what is the difference in feel?
POCO F7: 6.83-inch AMOLED, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 nits peak brightness, 1700 nits high brightness mode, Gorilla Glass 7i.
iQOO Neo 10: 6.78-inch AMOLED, 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 5500 nits peak brightness, 2000 nits high brightness mode, Schott protection.
Both displays are almost the same size, but POCO’s is slightly bigger. If you place them side-by-side, you won’t see any difference. POCO’s aspect ratio is slightly wider – it feels like iPhone 16 Pro Max. iQOO has a standard aspect ratio, which feels like common phones. In brightness, iQOO is ahead on paper, but in the real-world both are almost equal – outdoors, if you turn on the sunlight mode of POCO, it looks as bright as iQOO. Indoors too, both perform equally.
In refresh rate, iQOO’s 144Hz feels a bit smooth, but while swiping, iQOO stutters a bit – POCO is better in touch response, which is absolutely buttery smooth. POCO maintains a better balance in HDR – iQOO’s HDR content becomes over-bright, due to which the colours scatter a bit. Both offer full HD and HDR support on Netflix and Prime Video, but POCO also has Dolby Vision. Bezels are a bit smaller than POCO’s, which feels premium.

Software: Both have shortcomings
POCO F7: HyperOS 2.0 (Android 15), 4 years of OS updates, 6 years of security patches.
iQOO Neo 10: Funtouch OS 15 (Android 15), 3 years of OS updates, 4 years of security patches.
Both have some shortcomings in their software. Both HyperOS and Funtouch OS are smooth, but feel a bit boring – not as polished as One UI or OxygenOS. Both have bloatware – POCO has GetApps and iQOO has ads and notifications from V-App Store. Glance posters on the lock screen are also irritating.
This should not happen at this price (₹30,000-35,000) – brands should disable bloatware! Call recording without announcement is possible with stock dialer in both. AI features are there in both, but nothing special. OriginOS features are coming in Funtouch OS 16, which may make iQOO better.

Battery: Big Battery, Fast Charging
POCO F7: 7550mAh, 90W charger (in the box), 50% in 32 min, full charge in 77 min.
iQOO Neo 10: 7000mAh, 120W charger (in the box), 50% in 20 min, full charge in 38 min.
iQOO is ahead in charging – 120W charges quickly. But both are quite close in battery backup. YouTube 4K video playback test (10 hours): POCO 45% drop, iQOO 48% drop – difference only 3%. iQOO came out better in heavy use test (gaming, 4K recording, social media – 11 hours): POCO 93% drop (7% saved), iQOO 85% drop (15% saved). iQOO’s software optimization is slightly better, which gives more backup despite less capacity. But it can differ user-to-user.
Winner: iQOO (better optimization and faster charging).
Camera: iQOO Slightly Ahead
POCO F7: 50MP main (Sony IMX882, OIS), 8MP ultra-wide, 20MP selfie (Full HD 60fps).

The rear camera setup of both is the same – 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor and 8MP ultra-wide. No telephoto, as both are performance-centric phones. Tested in 16 different scenarios (portrait, sharpness, zoom, flare, ghosting): iQOO won 11 points, POCO won 6. iQOO’s photos have better sharpness and colours, especially in night shots and selfies. In selfies, iQOO’s 32MP 4K 60fps is better than POCO’s 20MP Full HD. But both cameras are average in this price range – not exceptional.

Performance: Same Chip, Different Feel

Both have the same chip but differ in optimization. POCO’s AnTuTu score (2M) is better than iQOO (1.7M). But both struggle in thermals – in benchmark tests POCO heated up to 50°C and iQOO to 47°C. In CPU throttling test both are average (60-65%) but POCO has better stability in 3D Mark (83%). In gaming (BGMI) iQOO’s 120fps is smoother than POCO’s 90fps but both heat up to 42-44°C only. Both Call of Duty (120fps) and Genshin Impact (60fps) run smoothly. RAM management is great for both.

Network & Connectivity: Almost equal

POCO weighs 223g, slightly heavier than iQOO (209g), but POCO’s in-hand feel is better. POCO (IP66/68/69) is ahead of iQOO (IP65) in IP rating.
