In the beginning of 2025, many phones are coming in the ₹25,000 segment, and both realme P3 Ultra and iQOO Neo 10R are heavy in it. Both phones are great in themselves, but which phone will suit you? I compared both of them head-to-head – design, display, performance, camera, battery, software – after testing everything. Let’s see which phone is the best in this price!
What do you get in the box?
realme P3 Ultra: Premium vibes as soon as you open the box! Inside is a phone, USB Type-C cable, 80W charger, transparent case, SIM ejector pin, and quick guide. There is also a pre-applied screen protector – a great thing at this price!
iQOO Neo 10R: This also gives great packaging. Phone, USB Type-C cable, 80W charger, case, SIM ejector, and quick guide. There is also a pre-applied screen protector. Both phones are equal in terms of the box!
Design: Which one is more beneficial?
realme P3 Ultra: This phone is very slim and lightweight – 7.38mm thick and 183g. There is a matte glass or vegan leather option at the back, which looks very premium. Glowing Lunar White color glows in low-light – a slightly cool vibe! Full protection from water and dust with IP68/IP69 rating. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which gives drop resistance. In-hand feel is awesome, and the curved display makes it premium.
iQOO Neo 10R: It is a bit thicker (7.98mm) and heavy (196g). There is plastic in the back, but Schott Xensation Up glass gives protection in the front. There is IP65 rating, which protects from dust and low-pressure water jets, but a bit behind Realme. Colors are Raging Blue and MoonKnight Titanium – some people like the racing track design of Raging Blue, some do not. In-hand feel is okay, but not as premium as Realme.
Winner: realme P3 Ultra – Takes the lead with slim design, better IP rating, and premium feel.
Display: Which is brighter?
realme P3 Ultra: 6.83-inch AMOLED display, 1272×2800 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1500 nits peak brightness. Colors are vibrant, but a bit lacking outdoors. There is no HDR support on Netflix, which is a minus point. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and curved display look great.
iQOO Neo 10R: 6.78-inch AMOLED display, 1260×2800 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 4500 nits peak brightness. This is very clear outdoors and there is HDR support on Netflix as well. The 144Hz display feels very smooth while gaming and scrolling. There is Schottky Xensation Up glass protection.
Winner: iQOO Neo 10R – Wins with brighter display, higher refresh rate, and HDR support.
Performance: Gaming Performance
realme P3 Ultra: MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra (4nm) chip, Mali G615-MC6 GPU, and 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM. Storage is UFS 3.1. AnTuTu score is ~1.4M, which is solid. BGMI runs smoothly up to 90fps, but there is a slight drop (55-60fps) during long sessions. It gives ~55fps average in Genshin Impact, but there is a slight dip after 10 minutes. With 6050mm² VC cooling, heating control is good.
iQOO Neo 10R: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (4nm) chip, Adreno 735 GPU, and 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM. Storage is UFS 4.1 (256GB variant), which is faster than Realme. AnTuTu score is ~1.47M, slightly better. 120fps support in BGMI (after recent update), and gives ~60.1fps average in Genshin Impact. With 6043mm² vapor chamber, heating control is great.
Winner: iQOO Neo 10R – Faster storage, better optimization, and 120fps gaming.
Camera: Which one takes better photos?
realme P3 Ultra: 50MP main (Sony IMX896, f/1.8, OIS) + 8MP ultra-wide (f/2.2). Front 16MP (f/2.4). Main camera gives vibrant and detailed photos during the day, HDR handles well. Colors are a bit too boosted, which gives vibrant photos. Skin tones and details are excellent in Portrait mode. Ultra-wide lens is average in low-light. Supports up to 4K@60fps in video, and stabilization is fine.
iQOO Neo 10R: 50MP main (Sony IMX882, f/1.79, OIS) + 8MP ultra-wide (f/2.2). Front 32MP (f/2.5). Has both natural and vivid color profiles. Photos have slight over-sharpness, but HDR and contrast are good. Slightly slower than Realme in 2x zoom and portraits, but better details in selfies. 4K@60fps in video, and stabilization is slightly better than Realme.
Winner: realme P3 Ultra – Slight lead with better portrait photos and natural details. iQOO is better in selfies and color flexibility.
Battery: Which one will last longer?
realme P3 Ultra: 6000mAh battery, 80W SuperVOOC charging (100% in ~47 min). Gives 12-13 hours screen-on time in normal use. 5W reverse charging and bypass charging for gaming.
iQOO Neo 10R: 6400mAh battery, 80W FlashCharge (50% in ~26 min). 14-16 hours of screen-on time. 7.5W reverse charging, 55W PD support, and bypass charging available.
Winner: iQOO Neo 10R – Bigger battery and slightly better charging performance.
Software: Which is smoother?
realme P3 Ultra: realme UI 6.0 (Android 15) – smooth animations, uninstall/disable pre-installed apps, great customization. 2 years OS updates + 3 years security updates.
iQOO Neo 10R: Funtouch OS 15 (Android 15) – smooth, but UI is basic. Limited control over pre-installed apps. 3 years OS updates + 4 years security updates.
