Realme P4 Pro is here, and this phone is grabbing everyone’s attention with its gaming and battery! This phone, which is going to be launched on 20 August 2025, gives a very different vibe. I tested it – design, performance, display, everything. Let’s see what this phone has brought and is it worth your money!
What’s in the box?
The box is very stylish – with velvet texture, and written on the top is “Power to Explore” with Realme P4 Pro 5G. What do you get inside? Phone, Type-C cable, SIM ejector pin, and a quick guide. There is also a chessboard design section which shows two chips, as it has a dual-chip setup. There is no charger, but the look of the box is absolutely premium. As soon as it is opened, it seems that something big is going to happen!
Design:
This phone is in Dark Grey colour, which I have, and there is also a Birch Wood variant which has a wooden texture. The design is absolutely sleek and premium – 7.68mm thin and weighs just 189g. It sits comfortably in the hand, the grip is solid, it does not slip. The back has a matte finish, which protects from fingerprints. The frame is made of aluminium, which gives the phone a very classy vibe. Such a premium feel is rare in this price range (~₹25,000-30,000). Colours include Midnight Ivy and Dark Oak Wood. Let me know which colour you like?
Display: Bright and Smooth

The display is really amazing – 6.77-inch HyperGlow AMOLED 4D Curve+, 1.5K resolution, and 144Hz refresh rate. It looks crystal clear even in the sun with 6500 nits peak brightness. There is HDR10+ support, which makes Netflix or YouTube videos really vibrant. There is also 4320Hz PWM dimming and TÜV Rheinland certification, which is comfortable for the eyes. This display is absolutely top-notch for gaming and content watching!
Performance: 144fps Gaming
It has Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip with HyperVision AI GPU, which is made for gaming. Tested variant with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. AnTuTu score is ~1.11M, which is solid at this price. Supports up to 144fps in BGMI – turn on GT Boost mode, enable AI HyperMotion, and turn on Boost Frame Rate and Always-on HDR. Result? Absolutely buttery smooth gameplay! Initially 144fps is stable, but during long sessions it fluctuates between 120-140fps.
With 7000mm² AirFlow VC cooling, heating also remains under control – max went up to 42°C after long gaming. In daily use, apps open quickly, multitasking is smooth, and Realme UI 6.0 (Android 15) is absolutely fluid. 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates will be available. But if there is UFS 4.0 then storage will be speedy and future-proof.
Battery: 7000mAh monster
7000mAh battery is the biggest highlight of this phone! Such a big battery in such a thin phone – Realme has done wonders. It easily lasts for 1.5-2 days with normal use and 8-9 hours of screen-on time with heavy gaming (BGMI). 80W SuperVOOC charging takes 50% charge in ~25 minutes and full charge in ~50 minutes. There is also 10W reverse charging which can charge other devices. Battery life is unbeatable at this price!
Camera: Fine, but Gaming First
The camera setup is dual – 50MP Sony IMX896 (main, OIS) and 2MP depth lens. 16MP selfie camera on the front. Photos are sharp during the day, colours are natural and HDR is good. Edge detection is good in portrait mode, but the depth lens is a bit basic.
Noise control is fine in low light, but not ultra-premium. 4K@60fps video recording is possible with both cameras, but there is a little lack in stabilization and detail. The camera is decent at this price, but gaming and battery are the real heroes of this phone.
Extras: All Sorted
IP66/IP65 rating, which gives protection from dust and water. In-display optical fingerprint scanner is fast. Dual nano-SIM, 5G (20 bands), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB-C 2.0 port. There is also an IR blaster, which can control TV or AC – quite useful! Dual speakers lack a little sound, bass is a little weak, but there is clear audio.
Pricing of Realme P4 Pro
The price of 12GB+256GB variant is ~₹25,000-30,000 (with offers). There are 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants as well. Getting 144fps gaming, 7000mAh battery, and premium design at this price is a very solid deal!
