Redmi has planned to launch another great phone – Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G! This is part of the Redmi Note 15 Pro series, and is launching in China in August 2025. There will be two phones in this series – Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+. It has so many cool features that you will be amazed, and that too in a budget price! I have checked all the details about it, and in this review I will tell you everything what is special in this phone
Launch Date: What is special?
Redmi’s boss, Wang Teng Thomas, announced on Weibo that the Note 15 Pro series is coming to China in August 2025. This series is part of the Redmi Note line sold in 100+ countries of the world, and has sold the most in the $175-$499 (approximately ₹15,000-₹44,000) phones in the first half of 2025! This phone has been made with the top standards of 2025 – meaning absolutely amazing in design, quality, and support. Let’s get into the details now
Design: Premium Look, Budget
The design of this phone is going to be awesome! According to the leaks, it will have a quad-curved 1.5K OLED display, which will look really premium. This display will be slightly curved from all four sides, and the bezels will also be super thin. There are not many details about the body, but if you look at the history of the Redmi Note series, then solid build quality is sure.
The weight and thickness are not confirmed yet, but it is expected to be slim and lightweight – probably around 200g. Colors? Prism White and Wave Blue are mentioned in the leaks, which look really cool. Let me know in the comments, which color do you like?
Camera: 50MP setup
Talking about the camera setup, Redmi Note 15 Pro is expected to have a dual rear camera – 50MP main sensor and 50MP telephoto lens. The main camera will give sharp and vibrant photos in daylight, and the telephoto lens is perfect for zoom shots. There is no details about the selfie camera yet, but it is expected that there will be a 32MP front camera, which is standard in the Note series.
There will also be OIS (optical image stabilization), so photos and videos will be stable. Video recording can support 4K@60fps, which is great at this price. AI features like portrait mode, night mode, and object eraser can also be expected.
Now let’s talk about Redmi Note 15 Pro+ – it has an extra feature that makes it different: Beidou satellite messaging! This will be Redmi’s first phone that offers satellite connectivity, meaning you can send and receive messages even without network – perfect for remote areas or emergencies. This feature was so far only available in costly flagship phones, but Redmi has brought it in the budget.
Display: Big and wonderful
Redmi Note 15 Pro is going to have a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display, with 120Hz refresh rate. This display will deliver smooth scrolling and vibrant colours – perfect for gaming, movies, or social media. The quad-curved design will make it feel premium, and there will also be Gorilla Glass protection – probably Victus or 7i. The display will look clear even in the sun, and with HDR support, you will enjoy Netflix or YouTube.
Performance: Tez and Smooth
It will have Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, which is very powerful in the mid-range. This chip is enough for gaming and multitasking – games like BGMI, Free Fire will run smoothly at 60fps. RAM options will probably be 6GB or 8GB LPDDR5X, and storage can be up to UFS 3.1 or 4.0. The software will be Android 15 based HyperOS, which is absolutely smooth and clean. Redmi phones have less bloatware, and also get long-term updates (3+4 years).
Battery: Will last long
In battery life, Redmi Note 15 Pro is expected to have 6000mAh battery, which will support 50W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. With this you can run comfortably for 1.5-2 days, whether you do gaming or watch videos. There is a chance of 7000mAh battery in Note 15 Pro+, which is absolutely the best! In charging speed, Note 15 Pro+ can support up to 90W, which is rare in this segment.
Network and Extras: Everything is there
5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and dual SIM slot are also available. Note 15 Pro+ will have Beidou system along with satellite messaging, which is a game-changer. Fingerprint sensor will be in-display, and stereo speakers are also expected. IP68/69 water and dust resistance can also be found, which is standard for the Note series.
Pricing: Premium in Budget
The price of Redmi Note 15 Pro in India will probably be around ₹20,000-₹26,000, and Note 15 Pro+ can go up to ₹30,000-₹35,000. This price can be even lower with offers, especially on Flipkart or Amazon. Getting satellite connectivity, 50MP cameras, and 7000mAh battery in this budget is an absolute steal deal!
