Design

We are getting very clear hints from the leaked marketing images as to what the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra design and features might look like. From the images it can be seen that the design of the phone is a little more refined and looks polished. The shape and placement of the camera island appear to have changed slightly. The device could be slightly taller or slightly slimmer.

The posters also show the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro, which could launch alongside the phone. And a “Private Display” feature is also highlighted that will improve screen privacy. Essentially, the images have a premium flagship feel, but there doesn’t seem to be a major design overhaul which is a must-have for S25 Ultra users.

Battery & Charging

According to leaks the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have the same 5,000mAh battery. It will have the same battery capacity as last year. This battery can provide approximately 31 hours of video playback, the same figure as last year. Within 30 minutes it can be charged up to 75%. This capacity is standard for a flagship phone, but some competing phones today are going up to 6000–7000mAh.

Many users wanted battery improvements, but this leak suggests that the battery size will remain essentially unchanged. Still, this 31-hour playback claim could be proof of efficient hardware and software optimizations, especially as the chipset gets slightly better power efficiency.

The leaked posters clearly mention that the Galaxy the S26 Ultra will offer slightly faster 60W Wired Fast Charging support, which is better than the S25 Ultra’s 45W. Wireless charging could also be upgraded to ~25W.Many companies tune charging speeds with throttling for battery health.

So, in simple terms charging specs are a step forward, but not groundbreaking. 60W is a decent bump. This is for Samsung flagships, but now competitors and Chinese brands are also offering 100W+ fast charging.

Camera

Now move on to the camera. You could get a Rear Camera setup of 200MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide lens, 50MP periscope telephoto (5x zoom) and 10MP telephoto (3x zoom). And we talk about Front Camera, it is a 12MP sensor for selfies & video calls. Basically, the quad camera system is similar to flagship cameras. The 200MP main sensor means extremely high-detail photos, especially in good light.

Ultrawide and telephoto lenses also offer powerful options like portrait shots, zoom shots, landscapes, and macro shots alike. It’s also possible that advanced photography AI based features will be added—like Photo Assist or the next-gen image processing features shown by leaked photos.

Display special Feature

In leaks, the Private Display feature is also highlighted. It’s quite interesting that If someone looks at your phone from the side, they won’t be able to read notifications or any texts. This is especially important for privacy in public places.

According to leaks, it could have a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display, High refresh rate (120Hz), HDR10+ support and LTPO panel. So, the display also appears to be flagship quality like bright, vivid, and with smooth animations.

Performance & Chipset

According to leaked information, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could feature a next-gen chipset. It could be Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or a region-based Snapdragon 855 processor. This chipset appears to be ready for powerful performance, AI tasks, gaming, and multitasking. This chipset will handle AI tasks efficiently, will improve graphics performance, will also optimize battery efficiency and Samsung will likely also offer the latest Android OS with One UI 8.5, which will bring a smoother experience and smarter features.

Expected Launch Date

Samsung has confirmed that on 25th of Feb 2026 the Galaxy S26 series launch event will take place in San Francisco. The live stream in India will be available at ~11:30 PM IST. At this event, the company will reveal not only the S26 Ultra, but also the S26 and S26+ and may also show off the Galaxy Tab S12 series, Galaxy Watch 9, and other wearables.

What are the expectations of Samsung’s Fan?

Many people expected the Galaxy S26 Ultra to have a big battery bump, ultra-fast 100W charging, or crazy camera upgrades. But leaks suggest Samsung is focusing on refinement and polish instead of huge hardware jumps. Same 5,000mAh battery likely due to sleek design and heat management, charging gets a slight bump but not a major leap, camera sensors familiar but could be software improvements, display and privacy features cool additions. In short, the Galaxy S26 Ultra seems like a safer, refined flagship not a radical overhaul.
